hazel-  Smart, loving, and the heart of our home

Hazel is our first and only true “in-the-house” dog — and she’s made herself right at home. She’s an F1 Golden Retriever–Poodle cross from Lily and Patrick (click the link to see her parents and litter photos). With her low to no-shedding coat, she’s the perfect blend of the Golden’s gentle, affectionate nature and the Poodle’s intelligence and hypoallergenic benefits.

Hazel is wonderful in every way. She adores our kids, gets along beautifully with the cats and other dogs, and is happiest when surrounded by her people. Exceptionally smart and quick to learn, she takes to training with ease — and when it comes to fetching, she’s all business! She’s currently the fastest of all our dogs when it’s time to chase the ball, and she never fails to bring it back with pride. 

Hazel truly embodies the best of both breeds — loyal, playful, and endlessly loving.​
